Equation

As printed (Table 3, Middle East, Eq. 46, p. 105)

y = e^(−2.779 + 2.427·ln d)

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Stem biomass = exp(-2.779 + 2.427 * ln(D))
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm

Printed residual standard error 0.305 and variance function coefficient δ = 0.959 (model fitted on the original scale, so RSE is not a log-scale value and is not entered as fit.rse). Total aboveground biomass = stem + branches + needles (dry). DBH-only forms are those the authors recommend for tree- and forest-level predictions. Country-specific DBH and height ranges are not printed; the ranges shown are for all 201 trees. Equations using crown length (19, 21) and the crown-biomass equations (23, 24, 33, 34, 43, 44) are not included.
