Equation

As printed (Table 4, Eq. (6); form in Table 2)

(6) 0.02533 1.00656 for AGB = α × (D2H)β

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Aboveground biomass = 0.02533 * (D^2 * H)^1.00656
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm
H
Total tree height, m

Weighted nonlinear power model, so no back-transform correction applies. AGB is the total of stem, bark, large branches, small branches and leaves (Table 3), so foliage is included. Adjusted R² is printed in Table 4 but is not stored.

We destructively sampled and weighed 52 sample trees, ranging from 11.8 to 42.0 cm in diameter at breast height

Checks this equation passes

On every build, the library's form and the paper's own form (in its units) must both give these values within 1%.
