Equation

As printed (Table 4, Melan row, whole tree)

DW = 0.927 • DBH1.128

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Aboveground biomass = 0.927 * D^1.128
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm

Young Q. cerris coppice stand at Melan, Albania; whole-tree dry weight DW is the sum of stem, branches and leaves (roots not studied). Site-specific equation fitted on the 8-12 sampled trees of that site; 2.0-15.0 cm DBH and 2.8-8.5 m height are the sampled-tree ranges (Table 3). Fit by regression without transformation, so no correction factor. Weakest fit of the study (R2 0.65).
